Meet the Cast- Martin Brennan

Martin Brennan is James Joyce in Joyce's Wake by Michael Casey

Brennan began acting in Primary School and continued into his early twenties.

Having won Best Actor in the Feis, he was accepted into the Abbey School of Acting but gave it up after a year to pursue a career in teaching.

He returned to the stage in 2008. Since then He has performed in many productions, including Mort, Whiskey in the Jar the Musical, The Merry Wives of Windsor, 8 short Plays in the National Gallery, The Importance of Being Earnest and numerous pantomimes.

He portraies a vibrant, exuberant, humourous, creative yet sensitive James Joyce in Joyce's Wake, the latest prodcution by The Umbrella Theatre Company.
